Tuesday is a huge day for Wisconsin… primary elections will take place throughout the state, allowing voters to cast their vote for the presidential primaries and other local elections. In between the moments that voters cast their ballots and then check the results via news networks, there’s one hell of a show happening in downtown Milwaukee.

Kurt Vile, one of the most heavily-heralded indie rock artists of the last few years, will bring his live show to The Pabst Theater. After seeing Vile in festival settings over the last few years, a chance to see him in an intimate theater setting makes this show a can’t-miss. The acoustics at Pabst will work wonders for Kurt’s amazing instrumentation and low-key vocals as opposed to the vast open spaces of festivals.

Last year’s b’lieve i’m goin’ down LP was an impeccable follow-up to 2013’s Wakin’ On A Pretty Day, lauded by critics around the country and found in many year-end lists. From his work with War On Drugs and now to his successful solo work, Vile has found his place as one of modern rock’s most important figures. The Pabst will provide the perfect setting for him to showcase his skills, and at just $20, this show is a no-brainer.

Tickets for Kurt Vile & The Violators w/ Purling Hiss at The Pabst are available here and will be available at the box office leading up to the show.
