We love a good music x fashion collaboration here at Needle & Thread: the two go hand-in-hand with one another and are so influential on each other. So it’s no surprise Gucci decided to use Lykke Li, one of the top indie female vocalists, to star in their short film “Just Like a Dream” for their Spring 2015 collection.
The video features a glimpse of what looks like Lykke Li’s daily routine: walking about town, playing music on her piano, shopping for records–while her song “Just Like a Dream” (off of her 2014 album I Never Learn) provides the soundtrack. Gucci’s key spring pieces are sprinkled throughout (the new highly-coveted Lady Web handbag included). The 70’s trend this spring is still alive and well with Gucci’s denim statement pieces, lust-worthy snakeskin boots, and military-inspired color palette.
