Started in the UK by former schoolmates, Chris Davids and Liam Ivory aka Maribou State have announced details for their debut full-length album, Portraits, after gaining notoriety throughout the world with numerous remixes and EPs.
Maribou State are determined to blend the lush and dynamic sounds of electronic dance music, while maintaining the passion and beauty of live instrumentation. Their lead single, “Rituals” delivers on that desire and determination, with a sound somewhere between the Caribou and James Blake.
