Mas Ysa Shares First New Track of 2015 – “Look Up”

One of Pitchfork Music Festival 2014’s biggest surprises was the frenetic, hair-pulling majesty of Mas Ysa. Today, the singer and producer has debuted his first new song of 2015, “Look Up” as well as tour dates, supporting Young Fathers.

“Look Up” is another fantastic track, right in Mas Ysa’s wheelhouse, ripe with great synthesizer production, motivating lyrics, and Thomas Arsenault’s vocal vibrato resonates so deep within your body, emotions are brewed up that can’t be denied. Fans of Mas Ysa’s critically acclaimed LP, Worth, will recognize some of the stems found within “Look Up” as “Yes” from his previous album, but now set with fantastic vocal and extra length.

Mas Ysa will hit the road this spring, touring as direct support for the great UK band Young Fathers, tour dates are below.
