Sufjan Stevens Debuts “Should Have Known Better”

Sufjan Stevens is set to release his seventh full length album, Carrie & Lowell on March 31, via his label Asthmatic Kitty. Today, Stevens shares “Should Have Known Better”, the second song released from the new album.

Carrie & Lowell has already been receiving rave reviews, some calling it the best album he’s ever made, quite a feat for someone as active as Sufjan. The album was named after his mother and stepfather, is a return to Stevens’ folk roots, and will undoubtedly continue to add to his reputation as one of the most important musicians of our time.

To celebrate the release the album, Stevens will tour North America beginning in April (dates below), and give fans a chance to listen to the album before its release date by hosting silent listening parties at local venues and small record shops.
