Twin Peaks Announce Third Album, Share New Track “Walk To The One You Love”

Our favorite Chicago Do-It-Yourselfers Twin Peaks are back! Not letting any of their buzz fade since the release of their sophomore album Wild Onion in 2014 – and relentless touring that went along with it – the group just announced they will be releasing their third album Down In Heaven on May 13th, via Grand Jury.

The group has also shared a brand new song, “Walk To The One You Love” today, and damn if it isn’t great. Touching more on the 70’s Americana jangle-pop that the group has hinted at previously, “Walk To The One You Love” is a glorious return for one of our favorite bands around. It provides a glimpse at the upcoming album, which promises to be the most complex album the band has released to date and there’s few things greater in music than the evolution of a young band. Twin Peaks is comprised of longtime friends Cadien Lake James, Clay Frankel, Connor Brodner, Jack Dolan and newly-recruited Colin Croom. Dolan is credited with writing “Walk…”, about losing someone close to you, and letting them go.

Down In Heaven will bring in new fans with the unique take on pop and rock Twin Peaks has won our hearts over with, and will appease “Team Peaks” with the production of longtime collaborator R. Andrew Humphrey and mixing by new friend in the studio, John Agnello (Dinosaur Jr., Kurt Vile, Sonic Youth).
