Mac DeMarco is set to release Another One, an EP of new material, via Captured Tracks on August 7. The EP will feature 7 love songs from DeMarco, and today he has shared the video for the titular track, “Another One”.
The smooth, keyboard-driven song finds Mac contemplating his lover’s desire to move on to another love, and the video is pure Mac DeMarco, starting with his tribute to one of his musical heroes: Michael Jackson. It’s an odd tribute, sure, with DeMarco wearing a plastic MJ mask and caricature t-shirt, gyrating on rocks along the coast. What else would you expect from our boy Mac D?
