Panda Bear (a.k.a. Noah Lennox) has shared the video for his track “Come To Your Senses,” from this year’s Panda Bear Meets The Grim Reaper. The video, which was shot in Lennox’s hometown of Lisbon, is a time lapse of foot and auto traffic on one of the city’s busiest streets. The fades of visitors and cars give a mesmerizing (and semi-trippy) effect to the video. Read Panda Bear’s statement on the video:
Rua da Rosa is the narrow but main street cut through the Bairro Alto neighborhood here in Lisbon. Visitors mainly stock the area during the day but it’s perhaps the principle target for partying Lisbon teenagers Thursdaythrough Sunday nights. The constant shifts make it a particularly fascinating neighbourhood to me. It’s noisy except for Sunday mornings. I’d had an idea for a while to shoot the street for a bit to catch the traffic.
